This is my largest screen print to date at 24x36, limited to only 35 prints on super thick 140lb paper stock.

For years I've messed around with painting and have never had the motivation to finish anything. That has all changed since moving to California back in January. Most of this year I've been in the lab experimenting and feel I'm finally ready to do this. Soooo this month I start painting seriously (whatever that means). It's just something I have to do at this point in my life because I know it's in me. I wanna thank the Clayton Brothers for inspiring and helping me get the ball rolling. I'm gonna document my experiences via blogging so I hope you find them interesting and entertaining.

Colors: #5 white, #6 matte black, lucky #7 gloss black. I'm really happy with how this print turned out. The inks I'm using don't translate on a monitor which is why I prefer screen printing over digital printing methods such as giclee. Much more work is involved but I think the finished product speaks for itself. Thanks to my friend, Richie, for doing an amazing job on the color separations, Russ for shooting me while printing and my assistant Andi for doing everything I hate doing and cleaning up after me.

Only 30 of these prints will be available Thursday, 8/5, 1PM EST in the Lucky Bunny Shop. Your support is greatly appreciated as I'll be taking all money from sales and putting it back into The Bunnyman project to bring you more Art.

This new limited edition print has been in the works for over a year and is a collaboration with Boston-based Photographer, John Holt. After many failed attempts at hiring someone to do the color separations, financial limitations, and a plethora of other excuses, I finally got this done. It's the best thing I've ever printed thus far (IMO).

*Release info: 30 of these prints will be made available tomorrow at 1pm, EST in my web store. The price is $100 and will increase by $10 per day starting on Thursday, 7/22, until the price of $150 is reached. A ton of work went into making this edition and it's very limited. Large shipping tubes are being used because of the size and thickness of paper.

"I find your poster of President Bush with a Hitler moustache offensive. It's okay for you to not like Bush. I don't like Obama. I've seen what he has done to the art market. This past year 50 major art galleries in Santa Fe have closed. Obama's big spending and expansion of government has killed the art market. In my forty years as a fulltime artist I've never seen the art climate this bad...but I don't make image of the president and put a Hitler moustache on him. If you will look at history Hitler killed 6 million Jews. I don't think Bush or Obama have done this kind of horror. Even if we don't like the man we must honor the office. We must show some respect for the leader of the free world. Comparing Bush to Hitler is not a good thing. It will not help your career. There are more conservatives that collect art than liberals. With the Bush poster you just lost 60% of your buying public. Probably higher than that."

I was recently asked to create a print with a bicycle theme for an upcoming art show in L.A. This print means a lot to me because I sold my car when moving cross country and have been navigating this giant city on a bike. Not a typical thing in L.A. but I'm enjoying it so I thought I'd share process pics with you.

Some pics of two 9ft. sculptures by artist, Robert Williams. I've admired Robert's work for 20 years so it was great meeting him and seeing his paintings and other art in person. Critics find Robert's work distasteful while others find it mind expanding as Mr. Williams sets out to show the viewer something they haven't seen (his words). I agree with the latter as I find much inspiration in those going against the grain. Those squeamish or turned off by the subject matter are missing the point. Robert is the definition of a true innovator, rebel, legend, and one hell of a nice guy.
